It has become something of a tradition for phone manufacturers to release something new every year. Be it an upgrade from a previous version, the continuation of a series, or the release of a completely new phone, there is always something new to look forward to.
Lots of upgrades and awesome phones were released in the year 2024 and this year definitely won’t be any different with phone manufacturers announcing their phones to be released for the year.
Phone manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Google, Motorola, Nokia, Huawei, etc have made announcements about the release of their phones with some stating the actual date of release.
In this article, we have compiled a list of phones expected to be released this year, and also, we will look at their different awesome specs to expect.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Series
The Samsung Galaxy S- series have always been top-notch and the S22 series would definitely possess awesome improved specs. The S22 series will consist of the S22, S22 Plus, and the S22 ultra.
Although their specs have not been confirmed, there have been rumors that they possess similar but some upgraded features to their predecessor, the S21 series like a new type of processor. There have been suggestions that they would possess the new Samsung Exynos 2200 processor.
Also, we are expecting a camera upgrade from previous versions of the new series like the S22 ultra which is rumored to possess an awesome 108px camera with 12x optical zoom, unlike the S21 ultra with the same 108px camera but 10px optical zoom.
The official release date has not been announced but rumors suggest the release date to fall between the 8th of February and the 25th of February.

Apple Iphone 14 Series
Apple has been exceptional in the smartphones industry with its uniqueness.
From their first iPhone release down to their latest, they have been on top of the smartphones market. Every year, people look forward to a new release and Apple has announced the release of the iPhone 14 series for 2024.
The iPhone 14 series will consist of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14pro, and the iPhone 14 pro max. These new series have been rumored to possess 6GB of Ram which would be an upgrade from the previous versions and they will have more storage space than their predecessors.
Also, for the new series, there will most likely be a change in body design since apple brings out a new design for their phones every new year.
Nokia X50
In recent years, Nokia has produced awesome flagship phones and we are expecting a release of this high-performance phone this year.
Some of the wonderful features this phone would possess include a snapdragon 775 chipset, a Zeiss-powered five-camera setup with a 108MP main camera, and 6000mAh non-removable battery.
Google Pixel 6A
There have been several speculations about the launch of this phone with no confirmed date but it’s expected to launch between May and august of this year. This model is expected to have some similar features to the Pixel 6 and 6 pro model but it’s been said that it might be cheaper.
OnePlus Series
The OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus Nord 2 are expected to launch in January 2024 and these are phones to really look forward to.
The OnePlus 10 pro is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8th generation processor and has a triple camera setup with 48MP+50MP+8MP. The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to come with a triple camera setup and a 4500 mAh battery capacity.
There have been rumors about the launch of the OnePlus RT in the year 2024 but, there has been no confirmed date.
OPPO RENO 7 Series
The OPPO Reno 7 series consists of the OPPO Reno 7, OPPO Reno 7 SE, OPPO Reno 7 Pro. The Reno 7 features a MediaTek Density 900 processor and triple camera setup at the rear with 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP.
The Reno 7 Pro also features similar specs with the Reno 7 but has a MediaTek Density 1200 processor. The OPPO Reno SE features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with a triple camera setup of 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP. They all feature the same battery capacity of 4500mAh.
IQOO Series
This series is expected to consist of the IQOO 9 and IQOO 9 Pro. IQOO has always tried to deliver phones with flagship specifications and high-quality performance and this series appears not to be any different.
They are expected to come with a snapdragon 888 processor. There have also been speculations that they might possess either 8gig ram or 12 gig ram. The release date of these phones may vary in different countries.
Xiaomi 11i
This phone packs a lot of awesome specifications like the 108MP triple pro camera and Mediatek density 920 chip.
It comes with a 5000mAh battery capacity and also comes with a really cool hypercharge feature which allows the phone to charge from 0%-100% in 15 to 20minutes.
Redmi K50 Series
These awesome flagship phones have been rumored to feature a CyberEngine X-axis vibration motor which would be the most powerful on any android phone.
It’s been said that these phones would feature a snapdragon 807 processor, a triple camera setup with 64MP, 13MP, 2MP, and a 16MP front camera. Also, they would feature a 4700mAh battery capacity.
No official release date has been announced but it’s expected to drop this year.
RealMe GT 2 series
This series comprises the Realme GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro. They feature a Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, two RAM variations which are 8gig and 12gig, a 5000 mAh battery capacity, triple camera setups of 50MP, 50MP, and 3MP, a stainless steel vapor chamber cooling system, and other cool features.
The RealMe GT 2 Pro is said to be the brand’s most expensive smartphone. The official release date has been rumored to be around February
Motorola X30
Motorola is one of the oldest phone brands in the world and they announced the release of their latest flagship phone with cool features like a 6.8-inch, FHD+, 144Hzdisplay, RAM variations of 8gig/12gig, a battery capacity of 5000mAh with a 68W charge technology, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, a 60mp selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup with 50MP, 50MP, and 2MP.
Its official release date has not been announced but it’s expected to drop this year.
