Ishtar Persona 5 Royal Best Build
Ishtar is the ultimate Persona of the Lovers Arcana and is famous for both her character design and usefulness. She has been around in several games in the franchise and is the only source of the Drain Wind skill and the first Persona that learns the Insta-Heal skill in Persona 5.
That just marks the start of the things that Ishtar can do, and she’s just a great Persona to have by your side throughout both the normal and Royal versions of Persona 5.
Athough, of course, her effectiveness does depend on how you manage her stats – so you need a good build to be able to use her to her best potential.
It can take a lot of trial and error if you want to find the best build for a Persona, so we’ve taken the time to create the best Ishtar build for Persona 5 & Royal that you can use right away to get the most out of this amazing character. So, let’s get started!
Persona 5 Best Ishtar Build Guide
In this build, Ishtar is meant to have the perfect balance between healing and attack. Of course, she’s best as a support Persona that constantly heals everyone in her team, but it doesn’t help to make sure that the little bit of extra push needed is there too.
The first step of this build is pretty obvious, you should try to max her out to her complete potential which is Level 99. Once she is maxed out, it’s possible for her to drop the skill card for Salvation and you should use that as soon as it is obtained.
But we’ll base the build around not having that just in case Ishtar does not drop it for you.
Then, on the left side of skills, we recommend:
- Heat Riser
- Thermopylae
- Salvation
- Samarecarm
And on the right side of skills, we recommend:
- Drain Wind
- Growth 3
- Insta-Heal
- Spell Master.
The stats are good enough at Strength 55, Magic 80, Endurance 54, Agility 68, and Luck 57. Having some of these stats higher or lower doesn’t change much, but this is the ideal level of how high they should be in our experience.
Some might consider the Luck in this suggestion high, but keep in mind that it also affects the likelihood of inflicting status ailments – which comes in handy by a great margin.
Additionally, you can swap Thermopylae and Growth 3 for something that might fit your playstyle better, and one of our suggestions for that is Debilitate.
But we do recommend not swap out Drain Wind as that is considered one of Ishtar’s signature abilities in Persona 5 and Royal, so having it is always a good decision.
Builds are fortunately not very complicated in the game for singular Personas, so you’ll be able to have a great start with this balanced build and still be able to focus on your other Personas and the main party full of characters too.
And that’s all for our guide for the best Ishtar build in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. We hope that you found this build useful – and you should always keep in mind that builds are meant to be experimented with and never written in concrete.
