If you’re discussing the twist ending to the latest Netflix series in a Server and know you’re some way ahead of some of the people in your group, it’s best to add a spoiler to your message so that you don’t end up causing annoyance.

Thankfully, this is very easily done.

Type out your message as you normally would in either your Server or Direct Message chat.

Highlight your text (or the section you want to remain hidden) and click on the Spoiler icon (Eye symbol).

Your text will now change to having two bars at both ends of it to show it’s spoiler-proof.

When you’re happy your message is spoiler-free, hit enter to post your message. It should then look like the below image.

The spoiler parts of your message will be hidden, and people will need to click on the part of the text to reveal the spoiler.

To add a spoiler to an image or any kind of file, click on the “+” symbol or drag and drop your file into the Server/Channel.

You’ll then be presented with the screen below. Check the “Mark as spoiler” box to keep the image hidden in the same way as text.
