OnePlus Nord comes with all the specs that fit into the category of one of the best smartphones in 2020. The OnePlus Nord has a beautiful design and display that blends with its affordable price. It has the same finish, and premium builds like that of OnePlus 8 series flagship. The Nord is a device with a metal frame crammed with gorilla glass on the front and rear.
The OnePlus Nord weights 184g and measures 158.3 x 73.3 x 8.2mm, meaning it is heavier, thicker, and wider than the highly esteemed OnePlus 8. It is a 6.44-inch device with AMOLED screen display, Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate for optimum performance and efficiency.
OnePlus Nord Camera Setup
The standout feature of the OnePlus Nord is its top-notch camera setup. The Nord has a total of 6 cameras, the highest in the OnePlus series. There are two cameras on the front and four cameras on the rear, the highest ever seen in any OnePlus device.

Is the OnePlus Nord Waterproof?
The answer to this question is No. for a device to be waterproof or water-resistant; it needs to have an IP rating of either 67 or 68. More so, including waterproof certification in a device, means it will be very expensive. Considering the OnePlus Nord’s price range, it is very affordable, which invariably means waterproof certification is not included.
Carl Pei, one of the co-founders of OnePlus, revealed that OnePlus Nord does not come with waterproof certification and does not meet the minimum water-resistance standards.
However, just like other OnePlus devices, the OnePlus Nord can withstand accidental water drench and survive when it falls in water areas like swimming pools, etc.
Even though the OnePlus Nord does not have an official IP rating that guarantees its dust and water resistance, it has all the features and abilities to survive even if it is soaked by rain.
